There is already little maintenance budget now. Having it reduced “significantly” sound downright disheartening.
Here is a suggestion for the DNR. Align your priorities. Don’t build a paved Minnesota River Valley State trail in a historically flood-prone area. Take the money already allocated and build the necessary bridges and culverts to make the current trail more accessible. So simple.
